I figured I could do this via Bluetooth and ran into some problems. I was able to pair the Dell with the receiver, and it not only says Paired but Connected. However, I can't select it as an output device.

If I right-click and hit Connect, nothing happens. I had no issues getting that paired, connected or using it.

When I look at my Bluetooth devices, the Receiver comes up as headphones and just says "Connected", but the JBL speaker comes up as a speaker and says "Connected voice, music". See the picture:.

One more point, maybe this is nothing or maybe this is something. When I paired my PC with the my receiver, the name of the receiver shows up on the receiver display and the TV it's hooked to. Suppose I leave the laptop open and connected to the receiver - if I change the source of the receiver to video game or TV or whateverafter a short time the receiver automatically kicks back to Bluetooth and connects to the laptop.

Fix! Bluetooth Speakers Connected with Laptop but No Sound

Yes No. Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. Method 2 worked temporarily. I followed the directions, was able to add my receiver and play music through it. However, this brought up a couple of other issues:. My receiver is a 5.

I would turn it back to TV, then it would automatically change back to Bluetooth. The only way to get it to stop was to disconnect it from the Bluetooth devices. In order to get it to work as speakers again, I had to follow Method 2 again and I'm not sure why.

Froyo Sep 21, Very frustratingly, I am unable to get Bluetooth media to play through the car from my OnePlus 3T phone. Calls work fine through Bluetooth connectivity with the car system.

Any media playback, app etc. Yet the phone recognises it's connected and you can skip tracks etc. OnePlus seem pretty useless on offering a solution. Surely the wise community can advise me there's a fix or workaround. Really appreciate the help against this head ache! Can't face going back to trailing AUX cables out the cabin!!

The app works great with headphones, but when I tried using the app in my car with my phone paired to the car's audio system via Bluetooth, when a song is "playing," no audio plays through the car speakers or through the phone speakers either for that matter. That is, it seems to think that the sound is playing through the car, but it actually is not. The issue isn't with my phone itself because other music apps work just fine with the car speakers Winamp, Pandora, HTC's music app.

Has anyone else had this issue or know what's going on? Spotify devs, is this a known issue for which there might be a fix in the works? Go to Solution. Keep in mind that some car models require Spotify Premium for it to work. View solution in original post. We're on the same boat. And sometimes there is no sound at all through my Mini Boombox even though the bluetooth is on.

Really irritating. I have a similar issue, but I can't get the newer version of Spotify to play through my headphones, phone speaker or bluetooth since the auto-upgrade to the latest version a week or so ago.

The song looks like it is playing, just no sound! I have experienced this exact problem. It is specifically prevalent if your device autoconnects to a different bluetooth device and you try to change to a different one. To all of the people out there who claim that losing the "Exit" option in the app isn't a big deal, THIS is exactly why it is. I have had the same issue with Bluetooth but mine is with a headset.

Little different though: I can click a song to play it, the next song on the playlist does what you're talking about, I have to click skip back and skip forward to get it to play, and it does it just playing from phone speakers as well. Same issue here. Even if you disconnect from BT the audio is still mute. The play time ticks away but no audio.

I got my brand new to me i with navigation, premium sound system, HDD, and bluetooth. I love the car, it's absolutely lovely. However, there's no bluetooth audio for some reason. I totally did not see that coming.

Is there an easy way to add support for this? Would a software update work? This is a big issue for me as I love listening to podcasts and music and such while driving but I'd prefer not to deal with the cables. Edit Nov 4 : A few people have asked me about this. I was able to code the car myself after buying a special cable and downloading the software. Didn't cost a penny and is a scary endeavour for sure. I was comfortable with it since I'm a computer engineer, but if you've never messed with that stuff before be cautious.

I bought mine off of ebay but here's a link to it on Amazon. You'll also need the software which you can find online. I just found a torrent for it somewhere. Bluetooth stereo audio is a different feature than Bluetooth calling. If the car doesn't support it there's not much to be done. Try that instead of going through the Bluetooth menu.

There's no option for bluetooth. I'm looking online and it seems sometimes you have the hardware and just need to 'code' it to enable the function. Would you have any idea how I can find out if I have the function and if I can code it? Only works with the E90 sedan.Of course the heavy duty drill was shown to be more powerful than the compact model. The company then used testimonials in their marketing.

That brushless motor has permanent magnets and it looks to be like your typical canned motor. Makes me wonder if its a longevity issue.

Over on electrician talk there have been quite a few M18 fuel drills burning up chucks. People seem to think that the motor puts out more torque than the chuck can handle.

Chris saysAug 11, 2013 at 10:18 amJust ordered myself a 985 bare tool on ebay for 100 bucks Needed a big drill to do some bigger jobs around the house. Thing is I only have 4 of the smaller 1.

Power draw is typically proportional to loading. If it proves to be a hassle to go back and forth to the charger you can always pick up a 3. I have that drill and both compact 1. The drill works fine with the compact batteries. I learned that the hard way and the 3.

It is scheduled to be released in October but these types of things can always change. I work for a school district for 17 years and most of our cordless products are Dewalt. We are now starting to go to Either makita or bosch. I still prefer Dewalt over Milwaukee any day. Milwaukee, however makes better corded products. A reader emailed in, asking about the possibility of Dewalt coming out with 20V Max brushless versions of their premium drill and hammer drill.

Reply For me, DeWalt dropped the ball in the transition from their 18V stem-pack line to their 20V Max slide-pack line. Reply Dewalt should have pushed the changer over from stem-pack to slide packs sooner it should have been 2-3 years before the actual 20v line release.

Reply I think it might be awhile before we see an update on the premium drill.

Reply I know brushless has turned a lot of these tools into real good tools, but some of these premium cordless tools are expensive compared to the cheaper more powerful corded counterpartsAnd like you said in this economy, money is everything. A cordless can do great things but if your doing regular work with these tools a Corded wins everything But if you need to switch go got it but the majority of the market is going to stick with what works for themReply The 4.

The compact drills are still only kitted with 1. Reply Well all the big drill kits with the 3. Reply I believe dewalt is fairly new to the brushless technology so has not yet found the balance between brushless and high torque to come out with a brushless premium drill just yet.

Size does matter, but small brushless motors are typically purposefully small.
